We got up at 8am and watched the highlights of the Royal Wedding. Everyone has gone crazy for Prince William and Kate and apparently 2 billion people are tuning in to watch the event. We feel a bit home sick today because we know everyone at home is celebrating and the whole country will be united.
Anyway we got on the metro to the Rockefeller centre again and this time did the “Top of the Rock” tour. It’s a very similar height to the Empire State but from this building you get a nice view of the Empire State! We went up 62 floors so the view of the city was amazing. After some lunch and a bit more shopping we went back to the hotel and I had a power nap!
This evening we went to the Yankee Stadium to watch the them play against the Toronto Blue Jays. The stadium was huge and had a great atmosphere, we had a few beers and Paul had a hotdog. It was quite cold so we only watched the first half, also the Yankees were losing so we snuck out early! It was a great experience though. On our way home we dodged our way through Times Square which is probably the busiest street I have ever been to!
