We flew from Washington’s Reagan airport this morning to Orlando where we started our adventure! The Reagan airport is actually in Virginia so that’s another state to cross off our list! We are flying back to Gatwick tomorrow so have booked a room in the Hyatt hotel within the airport terminal so we don’t have to travel at all tomorrow. The airport is more like a shopping mall; with restaurants, shops and a Starbucks right below the hotel! We had some lunch in Chili’s mexiacan restaurant and spent the afternoon by the pool.
We haven’t seen much of the sun since Hawaii as we have spent the last 3 weeks in the north and east where there have been thunderstorms and rain. It’s lovely to be back in some sunshine again, especially since it appears we have missed this years summer in the UK! We spent the evening watching films and ordered some room service. A lovely card was sent to our room from Mum and Dad to say enjoy our last night, thank you! We are having an early night to try and adjust ourselves back to the UK timezone a bit!
